This loveable boy on his
snail shell is one of the most appealing of the faerie children. In country districts in
England, the tall purple foxglove flower is often honoured with the name of the
'faerie bells'. On the Isle of Gramarye, the silver sounds of those flower bells may be
clearly heard. Faerie children fall asleep to the rhythmic music of these faerie bells at
the edges of their nursery glade. This boy is resisting sleep... no doubt because he
has mischief of his own to make. |
